Man what an annoying fight! But after much trouble with the first phase, Aurora killed Warmaster Blackhorn with just one try on phase 2. While we didn't have alot of ship health left, we managed. Though this fight seems like a lot of coincidence, and little actual tactical execution.

Deathwing's ultimate creation has met his end at the hands of Aurora tonight. It was a close call, but I would say a very well designed DPS race and healing encounter from blizzard.

A new patch, a new raid. Aurora has now entered the Dragon Soul raid released with patch 4.3. Finally it seems blizzard is on par with their tuning, and have thankfully decided not to listen to much too... entusiast on PTR forums like they did with Firelands. The new instance is fun, and challenging for casual guilds on normal mode as it should be, and will hopefully be demanding on herioc for those hardcore guilds.

As one of the oldest running guilds on Quel-thalas, Aurora is a place for those of us that wants to experience the raiding content with likeminded people. In here, you'll find a mature atmosphere of casual players, that take their raiding seriously. Currently, we are looking for two tanks, two melee and two healers to join our ranks. So if you are any of the following classes, and your gear is resonably up to date (ilvl 375+), visit the recruitment link on top for more infomartion and drop off your application.
NOTE: To apply you need Wowstead/Curse account and log in. Then add your character under "manage character" in your account, and confirm ownership. You can then apply, by visiting the above recruitment link, and click the "apply" button under your character.

After several painfull wipe nights, Ragnaros finally died a few minutes ago and then on the 4th attempt. Things seemed to click tonight, and as we got the adds under control in the second transition phase the fight became easy from that point.

After a few tries, Majordomo Staghelm met his end last night. The fight was fun, but not nearly as complex as a certain flaming bird. With Majordomo dead, Aurora is nearing the end of the instance and had a brief but hot encounter with the lord of Firelands himself. And so for some we are back where we started some six years ago, fightning Ragnaros 8D.
Then as now, he went on to proclaim that we would certainly "BE PURGED IN LIVING FLAME!"

Alysrazor died tonight, after a few low percentage wipes. Hopefully she stays dead this time.
Across the terrible bridge of doom, awaits the fearsome Majordomo Staghelm.

On May 13th 2011, Cho-gall hit the dust and bowed down to Aurora.
